beyza is a daydreamer who is always curious, searching, questioning, exploring, breaks things to make things, re-interprets the usual, loves saying it without saying it, inspired by random human behaviors and is happiest when she is making things.

Beyza graduated from Industrial Design Department at Middle East Technical University in 2009.  There, she concentrated her studies on the strong relationship between form and function while creating the infrastructure for design methodology and inquisitorial nature. Following this, she moved to Milan to study for postgraduate study. She completed her Master’s thesis at the Domus Academy on 'future user interaction on domestic appliances' in collaboration with Electrolux. During this period, she specialized in spotting the upcoming trends and practical implementation of contemporary trends in design process. Then, she started to work for Studio Backs which is a San Francisco based design firm. In San Francisco, she has worked with well-known clients like Incase, Samsung, and Mirasol as a part of an international design team. Besides active concept development and product design process, she has also gained experience in design management and design consultancy for corporate brands. After returning to her country, she founded the design department for Silverline Built-in appliances and designed their product portfolio. There, she also actively worked on design focused marketing strategies and process. The designer, who has won numerous awards including the Red Dot Product Design Award, If Design Award, Design Turkey Good Design Award, German Design Award, Plus X Design Award, UX Design Award and German Design Excellent Product Design Award currently continues to work on the “future kitchen experience” as Design Lead of Miele which is among the leading premium built-in appliance brands.
